When comparing Stainless Steel Self Drilling Screws with Yellow Zinc plated self drilling screws, there are different advantages and disadvantages as follows:

strength:- Highly resistant to corrosion Suitable for use in environments with high humidity or hydrochloric acid.
- Long life lasting
- Hardly get rust, causing no rust stains to stain surrounding materials.
- More beautiful and shiny.
weakness:
- The price is higher than rainbow plated steel screws.
- Less strength than rainbow-plated steel screws (Depends on the grade of stainless steel as well)
- More difficult to install, because the screw is softer than plated steel. And the material that needs to be drilled is very hard.
Yellow Zinc plated self drilling screw
strength:
- Cheaper than stainless steel screws
- Easy to install, drills quickly
- High strength
- Coated with zinc (Zinc) by the Electro Galvanized process, helping to prevent rust to a certain extent.
weakness:
- Shorter life than stainless steel screws Especially in environments with high humidity or concentrated hydrochloric acid
- Rust can occur when the zinc coating is damaged or peeled off.
- When rust occurs May cause stains on surrounding materials.
Conclusion:
To make the choice of which type of screw to use depends on the nature of the job and the environment in which it is used. If it is a job that requires high corrosion resistance and has sufficient budget. Stainless steel screws would be a better choice. But if it is a general job that is not in a harsh environment and wants to save costs. Rainbow plated steel screws can also be used effectively.
